Greetings!

Ruth FitzgeraldHappy New Year! I do love the surge of energy I always seem to have in January, and I especially love thinking all the “new beginnings” thoughts that I have this time of year--resolutions and goals and how I want to live my life differently.

I recently saw a quote attributed to an anonymous source that said “Experience is a wonderful thing.  It enables you to recognize a mistake every time you repeat it”.  One of my hopes for 2008 is that I do a better job of recognizing those mistakes and old habits before I repeat them……to live simply and mindfully.  What are your goals for 2008?

Last year was a great one for FHI and for me personally, and I hope the same is true for you.  We look forward to the new beginning that every year affords us and the chance to keep growing and keep improving.  We look ahead with anticipation to several new initiatives in 2008—but more on those in our next newsletter.

Speaking of new beginnings, we have recently welcomed three (count ‘em) new FHI babies and are expecting another in the next few months.  Is it something in the water??  We’re definitely having it checked out!

But, back to work!!  All the best in 2008.  Enjoy the fresh beginning!

Ruth

P.S.  Be SURE to check out the photo montage of our 20th anniversary “bash” in October.  We had a great year of celebration in 2007, topped by this “grand finale” party.
