Carol Gould’s article on innovative approaches to zoning “21st Century Zoning for Connecticut” appeared in the Summer 2011 newsletter of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Planning Association (CCAPA). Marcy Miller had a prominent role at the upcoming Connecticut WTS and Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) 5th Annual Transportation Mini-Series. She moderated a session on the Safe Routes to School Program on October 13th
.
WTS hosted an event on September 28th in URS’s Rocky Hill office that gave folks the opportunity to informally chat with four of Connecticut’s seasoned transportation leaders. Each shared their story, and fielded questions in an informal setting about their career path, challenges, professional obstacles, work-life balance, and more. Our own Ruth Fitzgerald was one of the four women on the panel for this informative session. Ruth wants to know if “seasoned” just means “old”
Josh Weiss and finance Stephanie bought their first home in July. Congrats, Josh and Stephanie!!!
